In 2000, the very first Signarama franchise opened its doors in South Africa. Twenty-five years later, as we celebrate this milestone, we’ve chosen to invest not only in our own journey of growth, but in the future of our differently abled community.
For our 2025 Corporate Social Investment initiative, Signarama is proud to sponsor a litter of puppies under the Litter Legends Program of the South African Guide Dogs Association. These puppies, born into loving care, will spend their first year in the homes of their dedicated puppy raisers — learning, growing, and being prepared for the vital role they will one day play. After this, they will enter advanced training at the Association’s Gladys Evans Training Centre, where their journey to becoming life-changing companions truly begins.
This sponsorship is about more than puppies. It’s about people. Every guide dog is a lifeline — offering independence, dignity, and the freedom to navigate the world with confidence. By investing in a whole litter, Signarama is helping multiply that impact, changing not just one life, but many.
A legacy of care
This is not our first step with the Association. In 2020, Signarama sponsored Enji, a bright Labrador pup who was later chosen to follow the most unique of paths — becoming an autism support dog. Her story inspired us deeply, reminding us that the right support, given at the right time, can transform lives in ways we never imagined.
