Super Store

A Signarama Super Store operates from a physical location that is fitted with all the necessary resources and manufacturing equipment. Most of the products in this franchise model are manufactured in-house. The franchisee is responsible for managing their staff in order to do this. Furthermore, they handle local marketing activities and project management with the help of our specialised marketing and business management software.

This franchise opportunity offers an appealing gross profit potential of up to 75%. It also gives you access to a space covering 150 to 250 square meters, giving you complete control over the whole signage process, from concept development to seamless installation.

The costs of a Signarama Super Store are as follows:

Total Cost: R1,500,000 ex VAT

Includes:

  • The franchise fees.
  • Comprehensive four-week training program and ongoing support.

  • Location build-out.

Excludes:

Studio Store

The Signarama Studio Store has a physical location but is fitted with only the basic finishing equipment and resources. This allows the franchise to make some signage items in-house. Signage projects that exceed the capabilities of in-house equipment and resources are then outsourced to the network of Signarama franchises who can do this or the Signarama preferred suppliers. A Signarama Studio Store normally has a physical footprint of 40 to 80 square meters.

The costs of a Signarama Studio Store are as follows:

Xpress Store

Running an Xpress Store implies that you won’t have a brick-and-mortar shop. Instead, you can choose to work remotely, either from a virtual or shared office. Additionally, you won’t need to purchase any equipment, as all manufacturing is outsourced. This approach minimises your financial investment and lowers operational costs and working capital requirements.

As an Xpress Store owner, the main focus is on selling signage while subcontracting the manufacturing and installation processes to specialised professionals. Your responsibilities include local marketing and project management, which are supported by our marketing and business management tools.

Owning an Xpress Store, there is an expectation to establish a Signarama Studio or Signarama Superstore within 18 months of opening.

The costs of a Signarama Xpress Store are as follows:

Includes:

  • The franchise fees.

  • A re-investment of R25,000 into your marketing for the first 6 months of operation.

COMPREHENSIVE
FOUR-WEEK TRAINING PROGRAM:

  • The first week is spent at our Franchise Support Office in Johannesburg. Here, we acquaint you with our support team. You will meet suppliers and visit other Signarama stores.
  • Training is conducted remotely via webinar for the following two weeks, where we teach you every aspect of how to run, manage, and promote your SIGNARAMA.

Once you have completed the first three weeks and your store is open, we will spend a further week with you conducting on-the-job training. You will also continue to receive ongoing support from the franchise office support team.
