In 2025, we reached a milestone that gave us pause for reflection. 25 years of Signarama in South Africa. 25 years of helping businesses be seen, understood, and trusted through thoughtful, well executed signage solutions.

As we reflected on this journey, one thing was clear to us. Growth and leadership bring responsibility. Responsibility not only to our clients and franchise partners, but to the communities in which we operate.

Why the Guide Dogs Association of South Africa

That belief guided our decision to select the South African Guide Dogs Association as our Corporate Social Investment beneficiary for 2025.

Their work focuses on restoring dignity, independence, and freedom of movement to South Africans living with visual impairment, physical disabilities, and autism. Through expertly trained Assistance Dogs, white canes, and a range of life changing tools, they help break down barriers that differently abled people face every day.

Supporting Change Through the Litter Legends Programme

Our sponsorship forms part of the Association’s Litter Legends Programme, which allows corporate partners to support the early development of future Assistance Dogs.

These dogs provide far more than practical assistance. They offer independence, confidence, and loving companionship to their future handlers, often transforming lives in profound ways.

We committed to a Gold Legend sponsorship valued at R50 000, supporting an 18-month training journey.

Meet the N Litter

The litter assigned to us is the N litter, born in 2025. We are delighted to share that these pups are now moving confidently through a crucial developmental stage.

Each dog is already showing a distinct personality, from Maximus’s determination and Takao’s adventurous spirit to Thea’s balanced enthusiasm, Neville’s thoughtful pace, Nyssa’s growing confidence, and Nougat’s constant readiness for action.

Behind every pup is a dedicated puppy raiser navigating the joys and occasional chaos of canine adolescence.

Accessibility Beyond Sponsorship

Our commitment does not end with financial support. As a signage brand, we are actively developing tactile and braille signage solutions to better support people living with visual impairment.

With sign language now recognised as South Africa’s twelfth official language, accessible signage is no longer optional. It is essential. We are proud to be addressing this need directly and advancing inclusion through our craft.
