Signarama Southern Africa recognised at a global level
Signarama Southern Africa franchisor Kurt Tyack, and franchisee Francois Schoeman, recently travelled to the USA to attend the Signarama International Convention (SARCON22). The event was held from 4-6 May at the Georgia World Congress Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
The event brought over 300 Signarama franchise owners and corporate support staff together. As has become the norm, SARCON22 coincided with the International Sign Association Expo, also being held at the GWCC – the largest sign expo in the World. The event celebrated it’s 75th iteration this year.

SARCON22 gave Signarama franchise owners from around globe the opportunity to meet, learn and share information with each other. Over the course of the 3 days, franchisees were treated to presentations from industry experts on how to run more efficient, profitable businesses. Coupled with the ISA expo which showcased the latest technologies and equipment, there is no doubt that the event was a great success.
SARCON22 concluded with the annual Signarama Gala Awards dinner. Signarama Southern Africa franchisor Kurt Tyack won the award for Master Franchisor Partner of the Year, and was also inducted in the Signarama Hall of Fame. The Signarama Hall of Fame is the most prestigious award in the Signarama franchise, and Kurt is the first ever Signarama Master Franchise partner globally to win it.

“Winning the award for Master Partner of the year, and being inducted into the Hall of Fame are a great honour. The awards are testament not only to hard work put in by my entire franchise support team, but also to the value of being part of a big brand, and recognition for the efforts put in by our franchisees during the pandemic to make sure we came out of this stronger.”, said Tyack.
Further evidence of this was in 3 other important awards scooped up by Southern African franchisees. Francois Schoeman was awarded the MVP award for Southern Africa – this is in recognition of being the top performing Southern African franchisee. Signarama Welkom owner Herman Van Dalen was rewarded with the Signarama Brand Ambassador Award for his commitment to ensuring high standards. Last but not least, Gavin and Lynn Mann from Signarama West Rand were recognised for their 20 years as Signarama franchisees with the Service to the Signarama Brand award.
